This standard is asking to show models of different properties of the solar system and how they work.
The sun is a very complicated but very amazing creation. There are many parts to the sun, like every other star, to make it how it is. Like earth, the sun has many layers that define it's structure but unlike the earth, the sun is made completely of gas. The layers consist of:
Core: where the nuclear fusion takes place. temperature is 27,000,000 degrees Fahrenheit. Radiation Zone: energy that rises up from the core. it takes energy about 1 million years to travel out of the radiation zone. Convective Zone: carries energy to just beneath the sun's surface Photosphere: the lower part atmosphere and what we see Chromosphere: orange/red of atmosphere. thousands of miles thick Corona: upper most part of the atmosphere. millions of miles thick. Sunspots: spot or patch appearing from time to time on the sun's surface, appearing dark by contrast with its surroundings Granulation: caused by convection currents Prominence: eruption of a flamelike tongue of relatively cool, high-density gas from the solar chromosphere |

Below is a video of a solar flare.
Rotation: The action of rotating around a center
Sun spots: A spot or patch appearing from time to time on the sun's surface, appearing dark by contrast with its surroundings
Convection: The movement caused by the tendency of hotter- (less dense)- material to rise and colder-(more dense)- material to fall under the influence of gravity.
Solar Flares: A sudden eruption of magnetic energy released on or near the surface of the sun, usually associated with sun spots. They are accompanied by bursts of electromagnetic radiation and particles.
Prominences: An eruption of a flamelike tongue of relatively cool, high-density gas from the solar chromosphere
